The publisher of the Barbados Advocate newspaper and owner of Barbados Broadcasting Service Ltd, Sir Anthony Bryan, died Friday at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

And earlier today Family members met at Lyndhurst Funeral home on Passage Road to pay respect to the man who bought an ailing newspaper “The Advocate” and for the last 20 years made it a success story.

Later in the affternoon his casket was taken to the St.Matthews Anglican Church where the viewing was made available to other friends and well wishers.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving for Sir Anthony Bryan will take place on Thursday, June 18^th, 2020 at St. Thomas Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service.

The cortege will then proceed to St. Matthew Anglican Church for the interment.
