BARBADOS: Remembrance Day observed.

Pictured above the President of Barbados, Her Excellency The Most Honourable, Dame Sandra Mason was first to place her wreath at the Cenotaph. Immediately behind her at left is Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ian Branch of the Barbados Police Service and at right the Chief of Staff, Barbados Defense Force, Commodore Errington Shurland. Remembrance Day was observed on Sunday, November 13, with a Parade and Interdenominational Memorial Service, at National Heroes Square, The City.

The Barbados Regiment provided the Guard of Honour, with the new National Regimental Colours being carried on parade. The full Armed as well as Unarmed groups came out for this parade along with the sentries around the Cenotaph, flag bearers, wreath bearers and the Royal Barbados Police Force Band.

In attendance was President of Barbados, Her Excellency The Most Honourable, Dame Sandra Mason; Deputy Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw; Acting Chief Justice of Barbados Justice of Appeal Francis Belle; Ambassador, United States of America and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps H.E. Ms. Linda S. Taglialatela; Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ian Branch of the Barbados Police Service; Chief of Staff, Commodore Errington Shurland, and other representatives from various Consulates and representatives of other groups along with the Barbados Legion. 

A small crowd stood by the Chamberlain bridge and from a distance witnessed the proceedings.
