Traffic Plans For Agrofest 2023

In an effort to alleviate traffic congestion this weekend at Agrofest 2023, vehicles will not be allowed to park or wait on a number of roads in the Queen’s Park, Constitution Road, St. Michael, vicinity.

The Barbados Police Service (BPS) has advised that the roads will be affected from Friday, February 24, to Sunday, February 26.  They are: Constitution Road, St. Michael’s Row, Halls Road, Belmont Road, John Beckles Drive, Nursery Drive, Ellis Road, River Road, Crumpton Street, Roebuck Street, Martindales Road, and Country Road.

In addition, the other roads are Perry Gap, Hinds Road, Harmony Hall, Tweedside Road and Carrington Village, Lower Collymore Rock, Fairchild Street and Jemmotts Lane.

Meanwhile, the Police Service has further advised that with the exception of sponsors, specially invited guests and exhibitors, no vehicular traffic will be allowed entry into Queen’s Park.

Vehicular traffic entering Queen’s Park will do so through the President’s Gate. Exhibitors will be allowed to enter Queen’s Park from as early as 6:00 a.m. each day. However, all vehicles must be out of the park by 8:45 a.m.  Vehicles will not be permitted to enter the park after 8:30 a.m.
