Three more members of one family have tested positive for COVID-19 after three other family members tested positive in previous days.
Among the 268 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory yesterday were three positives – the four-month-old baby and the 34-year-old husband of a woman who tested positive on Friday, and a 15-year-old relative. They are all contacts of a female family member who tested positive on September 30, along with a nephew.
The number of confirmed cases has now reached 199 and recoveries remain at 182 since no one was discharged from isolation today. There are now 10 people in isolation. The public health laboratory has completed 24,628 tests.
