A 53-year-old Guyanese woman yesterday became the 177th person to be diagnosed with COVID-19 in Barbados.
She arrived on Trans Guyana Airways on September 1, and has been transferred to the isolation facility at Harrison Point, St. Lucy. Meanwhile, one person will be discharged from the facility today, after two consecutive negative tests for the viral illness.
Barbados’ case tally now comprises 91 females and 86 males, aged one to 95 years. There are 20 people in isolation and 150 people have recovered.
The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has completed 17,677 tests.
