Minister of Home Affairs and Information, Wilfred Abrahams, has commended PriceSmart for opening a “state-of-the-art” Optical Centre.
Last Tuesday, Minister Abrahams congratulated the warehouse-style shopping entity for launching its new Optical Centre at its Warrens, St. Michael location.
He noted that since its opening some two decades ago, the “one-stop” shopping club “revolutionised and transformed” the commercial landscape in Barbados.
“I want to congratulate PriceSmart. You’ve further amplified on the vision of PriceSmart, which is to provide everything under one roof. Your model is convenience, service and accessibility, and this is another step towards adding value for your members,” Minister Abrahams said.
General Manager at PriceSmart, Randall Ramkissoon, noted that the new service, equipped with state-of-the-art technology offers members access to comprehensive eye exams, prescription eyewear, and sunglasses at affordable prices.
