The excitement, camaraderie, and rekindling of the community spirit, which spread across St. Lucy during the past couple of weeks, will see some last-lap activities to wrap up We Gatherin’ 2025 celebrations in the parish.
On Thursday, January 30, there will be a Q in the Community session on the Checker Hall Playfield, starting at 11:00 a.m.
The following day, Friday, January 31, there will be the symbolic passing of the torch with a community lime and karaoke event and Mount Gay Treasure Chest Promo at Shard’s Bar and Grill, Gilkes Road, Benthams, St. Lucy, both starting at 7:00 p.m.
We Gatherin’ will move to St. Peter in February, under the theme Heritage. The parish colour is lime green.
Among the events to be held is a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, February 2, at St. Philip-the-Less Anglican Church, Boscobelle, St. Peter, starting at 8:30 a.m. The service will be live-streamed on http://www.youtube.com/@WeGatherinBarbados.
