Holetown Festival
Holetown is located on west Barbados. The city marks, every year since 1977, the the arrival of the first eighty English colonists who landed on Holetown shore with ten African slaves who were kidnapped during the journey.
The festival celebrates the arrival of the “William and John” settlers’ boat that reached Holetown on the second half of February 1627. With its arrival, Barbados Island became British colony
The Festival this year is even looking better and more exciting than previous years.
