Four new cases (1 female and three males) of COVID-19 were identified from among the 565 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Tuesday, May 25.
There are now 42 persons in isolation.
Barbados now has 4,004 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1,934 females and 2,070 males). Forty-seven persons have died from the viral illness.
Since February 2020, the public health laboratory has conducted 167,591 tests. A total of 76,523 persons have been vaccinated under the National Vaccination Programme, with 56,691 people receiving both doses of the vaccine.
