Barbadians of all walks life turned out at the Queens Park Auditorium to pay their final respects to the Mottley family over the loss of Warren Mottley, 55, brother of Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, who passed away on 29th June, 2021.
Reports are that he died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by his family including the Prime Minister.
Warren Mottley, a lawyer, was admitted to the bar in 2002 when his sister, the then-Attorney General, introduced him. He has been working with his father’s legal firm Elliott D. Mottley & Co.
The funeral is to be held tomorrow with limited seating to 100 persons as per covid restrictions.
