Barbados’ COVID-19 positivity rate continues to trend downward, as no new cases were recorded out of the 595 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory, on Thursday, June 10.
There are 18 persons in insolation.
Since March 2020, the island has recorded 4,033 confirmed cases of the virus (1,952 females and 2,081 males), and 47 deaths.
So far, the public health laboratory has carried out 175,641 tests. Meanwhile, 86,390 people have received their first dose under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. To date, a total of 62,005 persons have been inoculated with the second dose and are fully vaccinated.

BARBADOS: 1 New Case, 20 In Isolation

A female was the lone positive case of COVID-19 identified on Wednesday, June 9, from among the 459 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
The number of persons in isolation is 20.
Barbados has recorded 4,033 confirmed cases (1,952 females and 2,081 males) of COVID-19 since March, 2020. There have been 47 deaths from the virus.
To date, the public health laboratory has carried out 175,046 tests. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 85,175 people have received first doses. The number of persons who have received second doses and are now fully vaccinated is 61,861.
