A 21-year-old Jamaican woman, who arrived in Barbados on Caribbean Airlines on October 25, tested positive for COVID-19 after a second test.
Her positive test was among 515 conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on October 26.
As of Monday, there were 234 confirmed cases and 217 recoveries. Nine people were in isolation and the laboratory completed 34,310 tests.
Meanwhile, the 377 tests conducted on October 27 have revealed another positive case after a second test. The patient is a 45-year-old visitor, who arrived on British Airways on October 25. One person will be discharged from isolation today.
As a result, the current statistics are 235 confirmed cases; 218 recoveries and nine people in isolation. The laboratory has completed 34,687 tests.

Seven people were discharged from isolation after testing negative for COVID-19 in tests performed by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Sunday, October 25.
There were no new positive cases among the 328 test results. As a result, the numbers in isolation have decreased to eight, and the number of recoveries rose to 217.
The tally of confirmed cases to date is 233, comprising 123 females and 110 males. As of Sunday, the laboratory completed 33,795 tests.
