Householders in Christ Church will get an opportunity to hear about renewable energy and how they can invest in it during a community meeting on Sunday, October 16.
The session will be held at the Deighton Griffith Secondary School, Kingsland Christ Church, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Invest In Renewable Energy Community Engagement Series is hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Business, and is aimed at sensitising members of the public about how they can benefit.
During the meeting, there will be presentations on: Why smart energy is important to the householder; Government’s policy on smart energy, and the technical aspects of how the householder can have renewable energy systems installed, among other topics.
Those attending the meeting will also learn about Government’s Smart Energy Programme; how they can reduce their electricity bill, and earn additional income.
