The National Conservation Commission (NCC) has formed a partnership with Clarity XP and WiFi Caribbean to provide small, medium and large businesses the opportunity to connect with more than 60,000 people monthly through its public WiFi across the island.
This should be of particular interest to NCC registered vendors at venues such as Rockley Beach Park, Worthing Beach, Dover Beach Park, Oistins Bay Gardens etc. as it provides an excellent opportunity for them to promote their businesses.
The NCC currently provides free public WiFi with an average of 2,000 daily connections at more than 16 locations around the island, including Oistins, Independence Square, Queen’s Park, Folkestone, Farley Hill National Park, Enterprise, also known as Miami Beach, and King George V Memorial Park.
Clarity XP Inc. (Clarity Media), a small Barbadian-owned and operated digital out-of-home advertising company, offers advertising that is accessible and scalable to small, medium and large businesses across both WiFi and digital display platforms.
It will leverage this network to provide a much-needed, cost-effective opportunity to entrepreneurs, while assisting the NCC to earn additional revenue, through advertising sales. This revenue will aid in offsetting the cost associated with the provision of the free WiFi service.
The platform will also be a valuable tool to aid in the dissemination of public service announcements and other pertinent educational information that may become necessary from time to time. Additionally, data collected from the service will also inform the NCC on the frequency and volume of use and access to the washroom facilities, which would help with the management of resources required for the maintenance of its facilities.
Persons should contact Mrs. Vadis Agard, at 262-8634, or email: vadis@clarityxp.com for more information on how to sign up for this opportunity.
