Two men have lost their battle with COVID-19, pushing the death toll to 124.
They are a 29-year-old Guyanese, who died on Tuesday, October 19, and a 64-year-old Barbadian, who passed away today, Wednesday, October 20. Both men were in primary isolation and unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the bereaved.

Barbados recorded two COVID-19 deaths today, Tuesday, October 19, bringing the number of persons who have died from the viral illness to 122.
A 51-year-old Barbadian woman passed away at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility, while a 71-year-old Barbadian woman died in primary isolation at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility. They both were unvaccinated.

A 50-year-old man passed away today, Monday, October 18, bringing the total number of COVID-related deaths to 120.
